Hey, I’m Elissa.
I grew up in a Christian household with prayer and Bible reading. You hear many descriptions of God, like: "He is like a father" or "Jesus is your friend and brother," and so on. Because of this, I compared God to the people who fill these roles in my life and underestimated how much greater and more loving God truly fulfills these roles. People make mistakes, but God defines what love, forgiveness, and acceptance really are (just to name a few).

Because of this, God has become the foundation of my life, constantly giving me hope, freeing me from lies, and making it truly fun to talk to Him. He has so much to share :) (aka Bible reading and prayer)!
